Who Should Do the Course?

 

  • Persons representing the workforce on WHS matters who are members of the HSC,

  • Persons representing Senior Management on WHS matters who are members of the HSC,

  • HSRs who are also HSC members,

  • Any persons who are involved in WHS consultation as representatives of the organisation who are members of the HSC.

  • Any persons who are involved in reviewing, changing, or updating company policy and systems around WHS who interact with the HSC.

  • Existing HSC members who want to refresh or update their knowledge to the latest WHS law amendments.

Course Aims

To provide participants with the necessary information to participate as a member of their Health and Safety Committee (HSC) and be knowledgeable about the role of the HSC to assist with the development of company policy, programs, plans, and measures for the successful continuance of the WHS management system, including how the HSC may also assist the business (PCBU) to consult with all persons in the workforce on matters of health and safety.

1 Day (9am to 4.00pm)

Public courses are delivered in Sydney CBD and Blacktown.

NOTE: This course can also be delivered on site and in ZOOM or TEAMS.
