Health & Safety Committee course
1 Day Public venue (Sydney CBD or Blacktown)
Why do this course?
A health and safety committee helps the business to develop WHS policy and procedures for the workplace. An HSC is made up of representatives from management and representatives from the workforce. HSRs are included as worker representatives.
A WHS committee (HSC) may also help a business consult its workers on matters of health and safety in the workplace. New HSC members may not have any WHS experience. This course teaches WHS basics that an HSC member needs to know in order to be able to contribute as a committee member, as well as what an HSC is and its role in helping the PCBU comply with its WHS legal requirements.
