This Fire Warden Training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of a workplace fire warden. The course focuses on preparing for emergencies, responding to incidents, and assisting with evacuations. Participants will learn how to manage fire risks, coordinate with emergency services, and implement emergency response procedures in line with Australian Standards (AS 3745-2010: Planning for emergencies in facilities).
To ensure the course aligns with industry best practices, this course has been mapped to the national unit of competency: PUAFER005 – Operate as part of an emergency control organisation.
Chief Fire Warden Course

The Chief Warden Training Course is designed to prepare participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage workplace emergencies effectively. It provides participants with a practical understanding of emergency management procedures, evacuation coordination, and leadership responsibilities in accordance with Australian Standards and WHS Legislation.
This course has been mapped to the national unit of competency – PUAFER006: Lead an Emergency Control Organisation.
Fire Extinguisher Course

The Fire Extinguisher Training course is designed to prepare participants with the essential skills and knowledge to respond to workplace fire emergencies using first-attack firefighting equipment. The training focuses on identifying different types of fires, selecting the appropriate fire-fighting equipment, and safely operating portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and fire blankets.

Fire Extinguisher-Warden-Chief Warden Combined Refresher course

The Courtenell Fire Extinguisher/Warden/Chief Warden Combined Refresher course is a one-day refresher course for persons who are wardens or chief wardens who have previously completed a course of training in any or all of the following units of competencies:

PUAFER008 Confined small Emergencies in a Facility

PUAFER005 Operate as a part of Emergency Control Organisation

PUAFER006 Lead an Emergency Control Organisation
This refresher course refreshes participants on the above competencies and provides a certificate of attendance upon completion.
General Evacuation Training (on-line eLearning)
This short, on-line eLearning course addresses emergency procedures for general building occupants was developed in partnership with Chubb, a leading fire and safety solutions provider. Throughout the course, interactive activities and animations develop and reinforce an understanding of how to prepare for and respond to emergencies in the workplace, and regular assessments ensure participants have a thorough understanding of the training.
This course is written in line with Australian Standard 3745 -2010 - Planning for emergencies in facilities.
