Course Purpose
1. To brief attendees on the functions and duties of duty holders under
the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act 2011) i.e. PCBUs
(person conducting a business or undertaking), officers, managers,
workers and others.
2. To inform attendees about consultation requirements under the
WHS Act 2011 that came into effect on the 1st of January 2012, and
to explore the relevance of those requirements to their activity.
3. To provide an opportunity for attendees to place questions
regarding the implications of the WHS Act 2011 on their areas of
operation.
