Company Profile

Courtenell was incorporated in 1990 and has since grown to be one of the largest providers of occupational health and safety training in NSW and an RTO (Registered Training Organisation registered with the NSW Vocational Education & Training Accreditation Board NSW).

The Courtenell team has since expanded to over 15 trainers who are backed up by efficient and friendly office staff.

Providing helpful assistance to business, government and other organisations is as much a part of the Courtenell purpose as it is to provide effective and best value training solutions.

The popular free publication "Your Safety Matters" (formerly "Committee Member") that has been published since 1996 is part of that approach.

Our Approach

We understand that the learning experience is as effective as it is real and relevant and thus interactive group activities, case studies and practical exercises are important components of all our training.

The course content is dealt with in terms of the experiences and work situations of the attendees, thus achieving understanding and application together. The result is that the attendees can apply the course content to their workplace.

Accredited courses are regularly conducted in all parts of the Sydney metropolitan area and in rural NSW.
We are one of the largest providers of WorkCover NSW Workplace OHS training courses.We are also an RTO (provider number 91325), and provide nationally accredited training in OHS risk management using 5 core units from Certificate IV in OHS.

Effective Trainers

We realise that who conducts our training is of critical importance. The high quality of our trainers is due to their wide industry experience, their capacity to motivate others and their focus on experiential learning and attendee interaction, in accordance with our company's philosophy.

They are accredited trainers with WorkCover NSW where necessary and many have post graduate qualifications both in training and occupational health and safety.
